Where our station information comes from
Understand what a station listing and a live availability report can tell you.
Station listings
Our initial list was downloaded from the Clean Hydrogen Joint Undertaking’s H2-Stations platform on 8 October 2026. It contains 166 stations across 17 countries. Coverage reflects participating stations; it is not a complete inventory of every European hydrogen facility.
We refresh the station directory from the provider when available. A saved copy remains usable during an interruption. Addresses, opening hours, access requirements and payment details are reported by station operators and may be incomplete.
Availability and compatibility
Availability is specific to a refuelling option. A station can provide 700 bar for cars while its 350 bar heavy-duty option is unavailable. Each option has its own status in station details. The marker represents the best reported status among options matching your filters.
Unknown availability means a current report is missing or too old; it does not mean a station is closed. Reports older than 90 minutes are treated as unknown. Check the timestamp, operator access requirements and vehicle compatibility before travelling.
Pressure and vehicle categories are useful filters, but they do not guarantee connector, filling-protocol or flow-rate compatibility. Fleet operators should confirm their exact vehicle’s requirements with the station operator.

Local geography and privacy
Country outlines come from Natural Earth’s public-domain map data and are served by Hyon. The map does not load external map tiles. If you choose Near me, your browser requests location permission and calculates distances on your device. Your coordinates are not sent to our station provider.
